I have been wanting to do a photography blog for a while and was really inspired by James Patrick Gibson's New Type York. As I'm really new to working downtown, but I love taking pictures and I really love finding interesting typography.

Kansas City has always been my home and I thought it would be fun to share the typography of the city.

I thought this was appropriate for the day after Memorial Day. I found this at the base of the Liberty Memorial. This is a really intriguing serif that is carved out of the stone. I particularly like the N’s.

The Liberty Memorial houses the National World War I Museum.
