I have been wanting to do a photography blog for a while and was really inspired by James Patrick Gibson's New Type York. As I'm really new to working downtown, but I love taking pictures and I really love finding interesting typography.

Kansas City has always been my home and I thought it would be fun to share the typography of the city.

KCMO Sewer

There’s something about manhole covers that I photographs well. They get that wicked worn look without Photoshop filters, but by people walking on them day after day. I really like the way the city logo accompanies the simple semi-condensed serif.
