I have been wanting to do a photography blog for a while and was really inspired by James Patrick Gibson's New Type York. As I'm really new to working downtown, but I love taking pictures and I really love finding interesting typography.

Kansas City has always been my home and I thought it would be fun to share the typography of the city.

Commerce Bank Building

The original entrance to the Commerce Bank Building is a reminder of what banks used to look. I’m not a big fan of how the word is split in two by the crest, but I’m willing to forgive because the color palette is so appealing.
