I have been wanting to do a photography blog for a while and was really inspired by James Patrick Gibson's New Type York. As I'm really new to working downtown, but I love taking pictures and I really love finding interesting typography.

Kansas City has always been my home and I thought it would be fun to share the typography of the city.

Reverse ENVOLVE signage

Last week we were walking down to The Mixx in the Power & Light District and we saw this signage on the back of a truck getting ready to be mounted to the building. I thought it was an interesting shot to get it reversed and I really love the letters, but like I continue to say, I’m a sucker for a good slab serif.
