I’ve been trying to get this shot ever since I started working downtown and saw this sign. I don’t know anything about the store or the kind of furniture that it sells (or if it sells anything at all), but I love the white raised retro script against the brick wall. The script itself feels like a retro typeface that was likely made by House Industries or Font Diner. Neither of those foundries were likely open when this sign was made, but still, it made me think of them.
